In the rolling landscape of the Gers, in the charming village of Saint-Jean-Poutge, Ibo and Marlies run our idyllic B&B and gîte Le Cozy. A place where rest, nature and hospitality come together. What makes our little spot special is not just the beauty of the surroundings or the stylish character of our house, but especially the way we fill in the host role. Personal, warm and with an eye for detail.

Whether you're looking for a relaxing stay in a cozy room, a longer holiday in our comfortable gîte, or simply want to enjoy the beautiful landscape, local culture and a warm welcome: at Le Cozy you've come to the right address.

Come home to the peace of the Gers!

After years of dreaming about a life closer to nature, we decided to change course and turn our passion for the good life, hospitality, and authentic experiences into a new adventure in Southwestern France.

Who we are

Before making this dream come true, we worked for years in the Dutch business world.

Ibo followed a secondary and higher education in Tourism and Recreation. After his studies, he worked for many years at various companies in the catering and accommodation industry. He eventually continued his career in commercial B2B. But the call to start our own company in the catering and accommodation industry remained.

When Ibo met the Belgian Marlies, it soon became clear that their love for each other was great, but the travel distance also. After just 7 months, Marlies gave up her job as a sports journalist at 'Het Laatste Nieuws' and emigrated to the Netherlands. In the years that followed, Marlies worked very successfully as a Recruiter and HR Consultant for various clients. Marlies has a strong focus on people, connection, and personal attention. Qualities that are now also coming in handy again.

We take our work and life experiences with us into our daily work as hosts and hostesses. Our guests may not miss anything. That is our top priority!
