Markets are fun to combine with a visit to a bastide or medieval village and give a good feel for local life in the Gers.

Tip for summer evening markets
In July and August there are often marchés nocturnes (evening markets, often with music and food) in villages such as Jegun, Lavardens, Lectoure, Vic‑Fezensac and Eauze — cosy markets that take place later in the evening (usually from 9pm).
