Markets nearby

You'll find local products such as fresh vegetables and fruits, cheeses, meats, foie gras, Armagnac, wine, honey, and more—directly from producers. Most markets are open from around 8:00–13:00 (some even earlier).

Markets are fun to combine with a visit to a bastide or medieval village and give a good sense of local life in the Gers.

Tip for summer evening markets

In July and August, there are often marchés nocturnes (evening markets, often with music and food) in villages such as Jegun, Lavardens, Lectoure, Vic‑Fezensac, and Eauze—cozy markets that take place later in the evening.
