Cancellation conditions

Cancellation and amendment terms

In the event of cancellation and modification of the agreement, the provisions of the general terms and conditions apply. Without prejudice to the other provisions of the general terms and conditions, the following applies.

1. Cancellation of reservations

• Reservations for 1 or 2 rooms and a maximum of 5 nights

For reservations of one (1) or two (2) rooms with a stay of up to five (5) nights, there is a free cancellation period of seven (7) days prior to the originally agreed arrival date.

Cancellation is free of charge up to seven (7) days before the arrival date. In case of cancellation less than seven (7) days before the arrival date, the guest is liable for one hundred percent (100%) of the agreed travel amount.

• Reservations for 3 or more rooms and/or 6 nights or more

For reservations of three (3) rooms or more, where the gîte is considered as one (1) room, and/or for reservations with a stay of six (6) nights or more, a free cancellation period of fourteen (14) days prior to the originally agreed arrival date applies.

Cancellation is free of charge up to fourteen (14) days before the arrival date. In case of cancellation less than fourteen (14) days before the arrival date, the guest is liable for one hundred percent (100%) of the agreed travel amount.

2. Change of arrival date

A change in the agreed arrival date is only possible after prior consultation with and approval by the accommodation and is subject to availability.

A change in the arrival date does not alter the originally agreed arrival date for the purposes of the cancellation conditions. The original arrival date remains decisive in determining the applicable cancellation period and any cancellation fees.

If the guest changes the arrival date within the applicable free cancellation period, this change can be allowed free of charge, provided the new arrival date is available.

If the guest changes the arrival date after the free cancellation period has expired, the original reservation and the associated cancellation policy remain fully applicable. Changing the arrival date does not entitle the guest to a new free cancellation period.

If the guest cancels after changing the arrival date, the applicable cancellation conditions will be applied based on the originally agreed-upon arrival date.

A change in the arrival date may affect the agreed price if the rate for the new date differs. Any price change will be discussed with the guest in advance and can only be implemented with the guest's agreement.

3. Change of stay duration or number of rooms

A reduction in the number of reserved rooms or in the number of nights may be considered as a partial cancellation. In that case, the above-mentioned cancellation conditions will apply to the cancelled part of the reservation.

If a change results in the reservation falling into a different category of cancellation conditions, the originally agreed reservation remains decisive for determining the cancellation deadline.
